The IACMA association, acronym of “International Academy of Chinese Martial Arts”, was established and established in Lugano (Canton Ticino of Switzerland) in 1986. At the beginning the main activity of the association was to promote Chinese martial arts courses , of serious lineage and culture, hitherto non-existent on the territory.
The technical guide entrusted to Maestro Isidoro Li Pira, of Italian origins, with proven internationally recognized experiences, has allowed the school to grow and develop the many realities present in the territory today.
The professionalism and dedication with which M ° Li Pira and the students of the IACMA school have worked over the years, have allowed us to increase and develop a strong interest in oriental disciplines.
This has made it possible to extend, in addition to courses dedicated to the various disciplines, also to stages of various levels, supported by leading figures in the sector; conferences on various contexts; seminars in educational, professional and cultural fields; demonstrations and competitions.
Activities that have conferred on the I.A.C.M.A. a “leading” role in the sector. As a result of this process, the school has become, over time, a reference point for the training of qualified teachers in the field of martial arts and related disciplines, so that today the IACMA is a reality that extends without borders.
