Míngxiǎng – Chan Meditation

At the beginning of the third millennium, life seems to have become more complicated, heavy and dangerous despite scientific and technological development.

Grief seems to be aggravated, and natural solutions to fundamental human problems are lacking. Everything is too expensive, not only from an economic point of view but also from a mental and physical. Suffering afflicts individual consciousness, increasing the feeling of loss. We lead a stressful life, becoming more and more dependent on it and thus creating new physical and emotional stresses. Struggling in the middle of the confusion of everyday life with the conviction that we can find solutions to our problems. While, on the contrary, we keep freaking out and losing sleep at night. We, therefore, live restlessly and life itself weighs us down and makes us tense.

Good exercise, a healthy diet and a healthy rest are the basis of preserving psychophysical hygiene. Still, to dissolve the blocks of the mind and revitalize the energies of the body’s constituent elements, it is essential to develop a peaceful attitude towards life, resolve inner conflicts, and overcome mental defects. The ancient meditative wisdom, inherited from the ancient philosophies, shows us the way to succeed in doing so by transforming our daily lives positively.

Our minds unclouded by mental defects and negative habits are similar to spring water mixed with mud. Instead, its original quality is pure and crystal clear, the exact nature as the mind of the “wise.” We will understand true happiness through a meditative path. We will learn to look inside ourselves to rejoin our original mind, take care of our forgotten destiny and existence, avoid wasting our precious vital energy with negative habits and identify ourselves with mental defects. We will revitalize the energy channels and centers and flows so that our body can resonate with the Universe. We will increase our awareness of existence through a subtle body and a purer mind and become stronger and healthier in a reconciled spirit.
